About Block 134 Arts & Wellness Collective
Block 134 is a creative and holistic community hub located at 134 Main Street in the heart of Downtown Putnam, CT. As both a beautiful, welcoming venue and an umbrella collective, Block 134 supports local entrepreneurs, artists, and wellness practitioners in launching and growing mission-aligned businesses dedicated to nurturing mind, body, and spirit.
The space is home to Silver Circle Gallery, a rotating art exhibition space, as well as a cozy community lounge for relaxing, meeting, and enjoying food and conversation. We host a wide range of offerings including yoga and fitness classes, creative workshops, private wellness services (such as mental health counseling, nutrition and integrative health, acupuncture, Reiki, and sound healing), music lessons, and self-development events.
Block 134 also provides flexible rental space for classes, art studios, wellness practices, workshops, private events, birthday parties, intimate weddings, and special occasions—all within a setting that fosters creativity, connection, and conscious community.

Silver Circle Gallery is vibrant after 17 years with regular formal exhibits of local and regional artists in our large art gallery overlooking the river, and rotating artwork on display in our community lounge.

Our walls are proudly curated by Silver Circle Gallery, a local arts institution with a 17-year history of exhibiting professional contemporary artwork in the region. While the gallery no longer operates with standard retail hours or a traditional storefront, it continues to thrive within BLOCK 134, thoughtfully displaying art throughout the Community Event Room and Community Lounge on our second floor.

Our event spaces are also our gallery. Silver Circle’s curated exhibitions transform the environment and elevate the energy of every event, workshop, or gathering hosted at BLOCK 134.
We feature rotating exhibits by local and regional artists and welcome artist submissions for solo shows or community exhibits.
Art displays are viewable during public events or by appointment.
Private exhibit rentals and gallery partnerships are available for artists or arts organizations looking for a unique venue.
